Avis Beasley

What We Do

We seek to establish a community recreation facility in Orange County, VA. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment for the entire community that houses several outlets of expression for all ages with an emphasis on children to help enhance their future.

Avis, born and raised in Gordonsville, VA, was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a former member of the Gordonsville Town Council, and a proud single mother of two.

Our Programs

We make a positive impact in our community through a variety of programs. We offer community engagement events and volunteer opportunities.

The Turkey Giveaway

Each Thanksgiving, we host an event where we give away free turkeys to local people in need, people who otherwise might not be able to get one. The community comes together as one during this event centered around giving love and giving thanks.

The School Supply Drive

We have sponsored back to school events centered around our youth, and their future. We give local children access to the proper supplies they needed to learn and to grow. It a heartwarming event full of generosity and community.
